Oklahoma's long-term goal is that by 2030, the majority of all students will score proficient on state tests, indicating they are meeting grade-level standards aligned to college- and career-readiness. Student Progress

Why do we measure this?

Oklahoma is committed to supporting all students in mastering the key knowledge, skills and abilities leading to readiness for career from one grade to the next. Comparing student performance on state tests between consecutive years provides a measure of student progress along a continuum of readiness.

What is being measured?

The combination of a student’s previous- and current-year performance yields a value from 0 to 200. Data displayed here show the average value earned across all students.
